Small tutorials for safer clicks

Byte Bandit's practical security lessons. No movie hacking required—just a few habits that help protect your accounts and devices.

Make passwords hard to guess

Use a unique, long password or passphrase for every account. A password manager can create and remember them, so you don't have to reuse “password123” like Byte does.

Turn on multi-factor authentication

Enable MFA wherever it is offered. An authenticator app or security key adds a second check if someone learns your password.

Pause before you click

Unexpected messages that demand urgency deserve a closer look. Check the sender and destination, and visit a service using its known website or app instead of a suspicious link.

Keep devices up to date

Install operating-system, browser, and app updates from their built-in settings or official stores. Updates often include important security fixes.
